Hi all,

I am facing very strange problem while installing DAX 2009 SP1. Base
version of DAX 2009 is fine but when I am applying SP1 on top of it. most of
the objects giving compile error . "Enumeration does not exist." This base
enum is supposed to be added in SP1, System Documentation Node but that is
missing in my application.

I tried several installation and uninstalation but nothing seems to be
working. I also tried without any customization... but no help.

Does anyone of you faced any such issue ? Let me know if you have any
solution for this.
Thanks

I ran into the same problem and solved it by updating my clients with Sp1 aswell.

I am not getting any option to upgrade my client.

I am having this problem in my development environment, we have everything
on the same machine Client, AOS and DB.

When I am running Sp1 setup wizard, I am getting only one option to select
application instance.

Thats strange because when we had finished our upgrade the only client working was the one on the aos server, thats how we realized that it was an client upgrade on the install disc aswell. It was the dateFlag enum that the other clients where missing and the problem went away when we upgraded them. When I ran the upgrade.exe from the install disc on the other clients computers I could select to upgrade the client and the debugger.

I was not the one who ran the upgrade on the the sever where we are runnig our aos tho, so I cant give you a good answer on if there was an extra step to upgrade the client there (and the guy who did it has gone home for x-mas) :/

But Im guessing that there is a problem with your client upgrade, its just a guess altho.

this error is accured when you compile any method used the base enum DateFalgs from Ax Client is not updated with SP1.
to solve it just compile the same method from ax client updated with SP1.

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue, not getting upgrade option for AOS and

Did you get any workaround for this??
Thanks
