Auto selection filter does not work

Auto selection filter does not work sometimes in grid. If you key in an
alphabet for a field, the filter sholud point to the first available record
that starts with that alphabet. This does not happen regularly. What could be
the reason?

Hi Nik,

i don't know the exactly reason for this behavior but in past i have seen
some problems with the filters, auto-filter and go to main table function
when the query of the form/datasource was overridden or customized.

Hi,
ive just encountered the same problem in axapta.. when you got the info, like 'If you key in an
alphabet for a field, the filter sholud point to the first available record
that starts with that alphabet', right click on the info box then you will see show/hide, then click 'show'-> 'name' tab.. then ok. ;)
