Discussion:
Image in PDF in batch (AX2009)
(too old to reply)

Hi

It is a known issue that PDF files cannot contain images if they are created
in batch (or any server-side code)
This is by design and for security reasons.

It is however rather annoying.

I would just like to check if anyone knows if this design-decision is about
to be changed or has been changed in current releases of Ax2009?

Hello,
This will not be changed in any version of AX 2009. The current (latest
hotfixed) version still has this design decision in place.

Hi,

We have created a workaround (small code change) to enable batch printing to PDFs for reports containing images.
You can contact us on http://www.dynamics-ax-addons.com/en/our_company/contact_us.html
