Extended Data Type field missing

Hi,

I have created one extended data type field. Because of half way system
halted. This field can't show out and missing. If I create new one and use
back the same field name, it will prompt out that this field already exist.
How to get it back in AOT?

Hi Clark,

Are you trying to create a new field on a table, or a new extended data type?

Things I would try:

If you are create a field on a table:
- Right click and choose 'restore'
- Right click the data dictionary and synchronize

If you are creating an EDT:
- Restart AX client and try again.
- Stop the AOS and remove the .aoi file from the application directory and
restart

Also, it couldn't hurt to remove you .auc file. This is the local cache for
object from the AOT.

Here's a list of things I try when 'weird' stuff like this happens :-)
